 As
a photographer I combine my photojournalism background with commercial
photography and traditional education in portrait design to create images
that preserve your memories and history. Traditions and family history
are created with an edge of photojournalism not often connected with
wedding photography. Weddings are a celebration of love, unity and passion.
Your passion is reflected in your images and preserved for all to enjoy
for generations to come.
Jeff
Franko Photography brings our family to yours with an assistant to provide
an extra eye for details in the controlled portraits. The assistant
also provides technical lighting assistance by monitoring a second light
source used in candid photographs. This light provides the depth and
details of the background while offering a more natural feel to the
photographs than a single strobe mounted on the camera.

 I
am a member of Professional
Photographers of America and the Native
American Journalists Association. Early in 2002, through a series
of testing and portfolio review, I earned Cerfified Professional Photographer
(CPP) status from Professional Photographers of America. All of these
associations provide continuing educational opportunities that I respond
to. |
I
photographed my first wedding in 1983 and have photographed weddings in
Washington State, Florida, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and the District
of Columbia. I have photographed Presidents Reagan, Bush, Clinton and
George W. Bush, as well as numerous sporting events and shuttle launches
during my tenures with United Press International, Agence France-Presse
and Associated Press and have photographed annual reports and commercial
and public relations events. Yet, none of that means anything to a bride
and groom without my honesty, heart and passion for preserving their first
moments together. |

 I
grew up in suburban Seattle and have lived in Washington, D.C., a beach
community on the Atlantic Ocean in Florida and New York City. These experiences
have exposed me to many cultures and work ethic. Jeff Franko Photography
will stand on ladders, climb buildings, and travel anywhere to ensure
your photographs and portraits are the best they can be. |

I have been fortunate to photograph and travel with Presidents and maintain my love of snow and water skiing, the mountains and waterways of our world. |
